Billie Cleo Standifer, born Billie Seals on April 11, 1931, in Tazewell, Tennessee, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on March 26, 2026. Her life was a testament to unwavering faith, loving devotion, and the profound impact of a heart dedicated to family and community.

A devoted Christian, Billie embraced her faith as the cornerstone of her life. For over thirty years, she found solace and strength attending services at Miamisburg Assembly of God, cherishing the fellowship and spiritual nourishment that sustained her through all seasons. Even when health no longer permitted her presence, her spirit remained intertwined with her church family and the prayers that uplifted so many around her.

Billie was a proud and loving housewife who treasured the ninety-four years that marked her journey. She shared a remarkable marriage of 49 years with her beloved husband, Charlie Dean Standifer, whom she married on October 18, 1948, in Middlesboro, Kentucky. Their enduring commitment was a beacon of love, partnership, and faithfulness that stood as a foundation not only in their lives but also in the legacy they built together.

Her most cherished role was that of mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Billie's family was the center of her world, and she found her greatest joy in the precious moments spent with each of them. Her heart overflowed with compassion—not only for her own loved ones but for friends, neighbors, and even strangers alike. She was known for praying for others and lifting spirits through her compassionate hearth, always speaking with a loving honesty, embodying both strength and the courage to say what was on her mind.

Billie’s pride extended to her living family: her brothers Ray (Rosemary) Seals and Don (Judy) Seals; her sister Kay (Jim) Maloney; her children Joann (Dan) Wilson, Brenda (Bill) Twigg, and Sue (Jim) Clawson; her grandchildren Roger (Cheryl) Miller, Pamela Lane, Candy Smith, Donna Byers, and Tamara Twigg; and eleven great-grandchildren. Alongside these dear relatives, many other family and friends will forever carry her memory in their hearts.

Reflecting on her roots, she is lovingly remembered as the daughter of Carson and Mary Seals, who preceded her in death, along with her siblings Lloyd Seals, Laura Jones, Ruby Mullins, Charles Seals, Pansey Maloney, and Dean Seals. She was also predeceased by sister-in-law Geneva Seals, Margaret Seals, Rosemary Seals; brother-in-law Lloyd Mullins, Elmer Maloney; and her beloved great-grandson, Micheal Sean Wilson.

Billie leaves behind a legacy of unwavering faith, love, and strength—a woman whose life was defined by devotion to God, family, and community. Her spirit of kindness and her habit of lifting others with prayer and heartfelt support will forever be cherished and remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her. In her passing, the world has lost a gentle soul whose light continues to shine brightly in the lives she touched.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 6, 2026 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Service will begin at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
