Billy Wayne Alford, a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2025, at the age of 83. Born on February 16, 1942, in Houston, Texas, Billy lived a life filled with love, laughter, and the warmth of family and friends.

Billy was known for his infectious smile and his ability to find joy in the simplest of moments. He had a profound impact on those who knew him, always offering a listening ear or words of encouragement. His spirit will forever be cherished in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to cross his path.

He is survived by his grandchildren, Desiree Isaacks and her husband John, Shauntil Cox and her husband Randall, Kennith Alford and his wife Alyssa, Tommy Hunter and his wife Keri, and Mike Hunter. Each of them carried a piece of his spirit and love, reflecting the values he instilled in them throughout their lives. Billy also took great pride in his great-grandchildren, Kensley, Josiah, Haley, Bryan, and Hannah, who brought him immeasurable joy and laughter.

Billy's journey in life saw its share of challenges and triumphs. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Betty Alford, whose love was a cornerstone of his life. The loss of their son, Kennith Alford, weighed heavily on his heart, as did the passing of his parents, Edgar Alfonzo Alford and Maude Crawford, and his brother, Jerry Dean Alford. Their memories lived on in him, and he carried their legacies with grace and dignity.

Billy Wayne Alford's legacy is one of love, resilience, and unwavering familial bonds. He leaves behind countless fond memories and stories that will continue to be shared for generations to come. Though he may no longer walk among us, his spirit will live on in the hearts of his family, forever reminding them of the power of love and connection.
