Billy Joseph "Bill" Allard, 85-year-old White Oak resident, passed away Saturday, August 30, 2025, at the Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa. He was born on May 26, 1940, in Craig County to Alva E. and Ella Mae (Heard) Allard. Bill attended and graduated from White Oak High School. He worked for over 37 years for the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, and was the County Foreman, he retired in 1992. Bill was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting. He was a very loved father, brother, "Papa" and great-grandfather.

He was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Wade "Tom" Allard in 2021; a sister, Audrey Jane Allen in 2021; brothers, CPL Arthur Stanley Allard in 1951, Alva D. "Bud" Allard in 2002, and Jack Lee Allard in 2020.

The surviving family includes his daughter, Tammy Anderson and husband Whit of Dallas; Tim Allard and wife Sherry of White Oak; daughter in law, Diane Allard of Vinita; sister, Lorene Grant of Scottsville, PA; grandchildren, Evan Allard, Erica Horn and husband Bub, , Hunter and Jack Anderson, April Patton and husband Dave, Alexa Newhart and husband Chance, Jake Allard, Bob and Dylan White, special considered grandson, Joe Snedden; great-grandchildren, Jordan Crank, Koree Haggard, Case Strong, Coaley Newhart, Briar, Branch and Cactus Horn; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at the Burckhalter-Highsmith Chapel in Vinita.

The celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the White Oak Baptist Church, John Spradling will officiate. Interment will follow at the Big Cabin Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.highsmithfh.com or on the funeral home Facebook page. Arrangements are in the care of the Burckhalter-Highsmith Funeral and Cremation Services of Vinita. "Vinita's only locally family owned and operated funeral home."
