Billy Wayne Armstrong

Funeral services for Billy Wayne Armstrong, 75, will be held Thursday, May 23, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 9891 Texas Highway, Many, Louisiana. A burial will follow at Aimwell Cemetery in Zwolle, Louisiana. A visitation will be held Thursday, May 23, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. Officiating the service will be Brother Ronnie Sandifer. 

Billy was born on December 6, 1948 to Sherman Aubrey Armstrong and Merita Bass in Many, Louisiana and passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024 in Many, Louisiana.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Edith Booth, Jewel Savage, and Nell Strength. He is survived by his sons, Chris Chance and wife, Lacey, of Zwolle, Louisiana, Jason Procell and wife, Sonya, of Ebarb, Louisiana, and Courtney Procell and wife, Ashley, of Zwolle, Louisiana; daughters, Kimberly Armstrong of Zwolle, Louisiana and April Chance of Carthage, Texas; sisters, Mary Ann Reeves of Shreveport, Louisiana and Betty Armstrong of Many, Louisiana; brother, Odis Armstrong of Huntington, Texas; special friend, Valerie Calhoun of Zwolle, Louisiana; 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. 

Honoring Billy as pallbearers will be Timbo Carnline, Jimmy Falcon, Joshua “Poppy” Hillman, Clifton Malmay, Jason Malmay, and Courtney Procell. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Valerie Calhoun and Cane Chance.
