Priscilla Armstrong Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Coker Funeral Home on Feb. 17, 2026.
Priscilla Lynn Armstrong passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2026, in Graham, Texas, at the age of 87. Priscilla was born on January 9, 1939, in Jacksboro, Texas, to Jodie Humphrey "Pete" Armstrong and Loula Selina "Hooter" (Lowrance) Armstrong.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at Coker Funeral Home in Jacksboro, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 20, 2026, at First Baptist Church in Bryson, Texas, with burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery.

Priscilla was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Bryson and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was also formerly a member of the Bryson Lions Club and a member of the Graham Promenaders. Priscilla loved to dance and paint, and she especially enjoyed spending time outdoors. She was truly an "outside lady," always working in her yard and taking pride in keeping it beautiful. She loved her family deeply and treasured the time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Jo Casteel; and her granddaughter, Shawn Marie Ramone.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Lutitia Dunlap and husband Bill, Lynette Guthrie and husband Gene, and Larae Wright and husband Phillip; her grandchildren, Jennifer Chatman (Steve), Shelly Tinney, Matt Ford (Kati), Sherry Fenter, Kelly Fenter, Todd Fenter (Megan), and Sara Arias (Brian); 13 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; and many other extended family members and dear friends.
