Billy Begley

Billy Begley, a beloved quiet and humble man with a calm demeanor who enjoyed all of life’s simple things, passed away peacefully at home after being comforted by his family in Indianapolis, Indiana on November 14, 2025, at the age of 79.
Born August 15, 1946, in Fort Bragg, North Carolina to parents Earl and Doshie (Asher) Begley. Billy worked for nearly 30 years at Indiana Veneers before retiring.
Billy enjoyed watching western and game shows on the television. Eating chocolate and snacks was always a favorite thing of his to do. He was always willing to help a friend in need or just be there to listen. He loved his family and enjoyed time spent with them.
Billy is survived by his children Billy Ray, Donna, and Angela.
As a brother he is survived by his twin sister who loved him more than life and was his caregiver for 16 years Betty Johnson, his brother Ray Begley (Debbie), and his sister Donna Jo. As an uncle he enjoyed time spent with his favorite nieces Rita Wise and Alexis Fay Wise. Also, his nephews Brent Luna, Jaylon Wise, and Tony Luna.
Billy was preceded in death by his loving parents Earl and Doshie (Asher) Begley. As well as his sister Pat, his niece Chrissy Wise, and his nephew Tony Wise.
Throughout his life Billy was always passing along the word of God and his strong faith. Christmas time was his favorite as he enjoyed looking at all the Christmas lights. While he kept to himself, his presence and love were still known by his family and friends. He was an appreciative man who cherished even the smallest gifts. He will be dearly missed but always remembered by his family who loved him endlessly.
