Obituary published on Legacy.com by Thurman Funeral Home - Richmond on Oct. 13, 2025.
Billy Charles Biggs, 84, of Rayville, passed away Sunday, October 12, 2025, at Excelsior Springs Hospital.

Billy was born on July 23, 1941, in Okmulgee, OK, the son of William "Willie" and Helen (Aldridge) Biggs. He was united in marriage to Lois Ann Milligan of Ray County on April 9, 1961; she survives of the home.

Additional survivors include: several nieces and nephews.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Tommy Lee Biggs.

Billy was raised and educated in the area of his birth and came to Missouri with his family at the age of eleven. He began working for local farmer Chet Thompson before joining Ford Motor Company, where he dedicated 33 years and retired as a Trainer. Billy was a proud member of the United Auto Workers Local #249. He also proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

Billy was a faithful member of the Rayville Christian Union Church. An avid outdoorsman, he found great joy in fishing and tending to his garden. He was known for his kind heart, humble spirit, and gentle nature-never having a bad word to say about anyone. Billy had many friends who will deeply miss his friendship and good company.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to either the Alzheimer's Association or the Rayville Christian Union Church. They can be left at or mailed to Thurman Funeral Home, 507 East Main Street-P.O. Box 190, Richmond, MO 64085.

Visitation with funeral services will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025, at Rayville Christian Union Church, with visitation beginning at 9:30 A.M., with services to follow at 10:30 A.M.
