Undra E. Biggs

Our beautiful Undra Elissa Biggs was born February 18, 1966, in Trenton, New Jersey. She graduated from Trenton Central High School in 1984 and began working as an administrative assistant at the New Jersey Department of the Treasury O&B department. She met her husband, Alvin Ronald Biggs, Sr., in 1987. They moved to a beautiful neighborhood in Ewing Township, New Jersey where the spent their years raising their two children, Miya S. Biggs and Alvin R. Biggs. Jr. Undra's family, her "core four" as she lovingly referred to them, was her whole heart.

At eight years old, Undra was baptized at Mount Zion African Methodist Episcopal Church by Rev. J.J. Jackson and sang for the Trenton Community Gospel Choir with Rev. Melvin Brown.

Undra was a beautiful soul full of love and a special wisdom. She found joy in learning and teaching. She enjoyed the small moments of day trips to Penn's Landing to listen to the jazz bands play, Friday night Blockbuster movies and Chinese food, open house touring when she was learning about real estate and sitting at her computer completely taken into the worlds of her novels. She is an accomplished writer of two books: "When You Look at Me" and "Backfield in Motion," both tell her life story and her dreams in her own way. Undra was also a member of the Trenton Writers Guild.

Beloved Undra was preceded in death by her mother, Sarah Linda Clay; and in-laws: Stella-Mae Biggs, William Biggs, Josephine Biggs, Roosevelt Francis, and Barbara Francis.

Undra leaves to cherish precious memories her loving husband, Alvin Ronald Biggs, Sr., two children, Miya S. Biggs and Alvin R. Biggs, Jr.; father, Charles Sylvester Clay; sister, Brenda Geizel McLeon (Kenneth); niece, Keneisha Roberts (Alejandro "Ray"); nephew, Kenneth L. McLeon; great-niece, Alexia Roberts; five great-nephews: Alijandro, Alijah, Alec, Alel, and Axel Roberts; in-laws: Jimmy Barnes (Lucretia), Roosevelt Francis (Tammy), Gwendolyn Truehart (Gerald), Rosina Nixon (Richard), Kim Francis, and Alberta Francis; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
