Mikel Biggs Obituary
Mikel Tommie Biggs, age 73 of Tennessee Ridge, TN, passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at Houston County Community Hospital.
Mikel entered this life on April 8, 1952 in Erin, TN, son to the late Lurton and Gertie Biggs. Mikel was a teamster and truck driver by trade, something he was very proud of. He loved fishing and finding treasure along the water banks, and had a love for collecting classic cars; he will be greatly missed.
In addition to his parents, Mikel was preceded in death by his children, Edward Brian Biggs, Lurton Samuel Biggs; siblings, Lurton Biggs Jr, Danny Biggs, and Lorraine Cooksey.
Survivors include his loving son, Michael “Shane” Biggs; siblings, Vernon Biggs, Mitzi Whitford; granddaughter, Jaimey Lynn Biggs; special caregiver, Lorie Sumner; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many special friends.
Private graveside services will be held at McIntosh Cemetery
