Billy Boyce

A wake for Billy Boyce Sr., 70, of Athens, will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 25, and Thursday, June 26, at the Full Gospel Tabernacle – 339 FM 316, Eustace, Texas. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on Friday, June 27, 2025, at the Full Gospel Tabernacle. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Athens under the direction of Hannigan Smith Funeral Home.
Billy went to be with Jesus in the presence of his loving family on June 24, 2025, at his home in Athens.
Billy Boyce Sr. was born on April 24, 1955, in Lamar Colorado the son of Franklin Boyce Sr., and Violet (Cooper) Boyce. He was a member of the Athens Church of God and known as a hard-working man. He owned and operated Boyce's Detailing for over 45 years where he took great pride in detail painting. Papa enjoyed gardening and was a loving man who enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandkids.
He is preceded in death by his father Franklin Boyce Sr. his son Billy Boyce Jr., mother and father in law Betty and Ernest Baker and several brother's and sister's in law.
Billy is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Tracy Boyce of Athens; his son Michael Boyce and daughter in law Savannah Boyce both of Athens; his mother Violet Boyce of Athens; his brothers, Benny Boyce and wife Ramona of Athens, Franklin Boyce Jr., of Athens, Charlie Boyce and wife Sherri of Murchison, Harry Boyce and wife Tiny of Athens; grandchildren, Logan Boyce and wife Isabell, Cash Boyce, Jazmyn Boyce, Graceland Green and husband Mark and his best friend Shane Lee of Livingston, Texas.
Services were entrusted to the Hannigan Smith Funeral Home family.
