Billy Joe Bryant, a dedicated general contractor, beloved family man, and strong believer in Jesus Christ, passed away on February 15, 2026, at the age of 48 in Spartanburg County, South Carolina. Born on December 9, 1977, in Catawba County, North Carolina, Billy grew up with a passion for construction, establishing a successful career as a general contractor, where he was known for his unwavering commitment to quality and integrity.
Billy is survived by his loving girlfriend, Amber Powell, and a large family that includes his father, Billy Adam Bryant, Jr.; his son, Billy Wade Bryant; and his wife, Haley, and stepsons, Landon Greenway and Mark Denny. He was a proud father to his daughters, Bailee Aquino and her husband Joe, and Melia Bryant. In addition, Billy cherished his role as a grandparent to Izaiah, Olivia, Knox, and a future grandchild (Elijah) expected to arrive soon.
He is also remembered fondly by his brother, Tim Bryant, and sister, Tiffany Morrison.
Billy's mother, Linda, and grandson Ezekiel preceded him in death, leaving a legacy of love that continues to inspire those who knew him.
A visitation with family will be held on February 20, 2026, from 6 PM to 8 PM at Cleveland Funeral Services & Crematory, located at 2518 W Dixon Blvd, Shelby, NC 28150. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Billy will be deeply missed by his family and friends, whose lives he touched with kindness, strength, and an unparalleled work ethic.
