Funeral services for Billy Ray Campbell, Jr., 66, will be Monday, May 5, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at New Freedom Fellowship Church, 660 Hwy 1215, Many, Louisiana under the direction of Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Funeral Home. A visitation will be held on Sunday, May 4, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service. A burial will follow at New Freedom Fellowship Cemetery. Officiating the service will be Brother Dean Hillman and Brother Dean Johnson.
Billy was born on June 23, 1958 to Billy Ray Campbell and Mary Bickerstaff Campbell in Longview, Texas and passed away on April 30, 2025 in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Billy had a big heart and always found someone to talk to wherever he went. He was a huge Cowboys fan and was always the life of the party. Billy proudly served his country in the Marine Corps for 4 years. He was also a hard worker and worked in the oil field for more than 40 years.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Mary Campbell and brother, Kenneth Campbell. He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Barbara Campbell of Pleasant Hill, Louisiana; sons, Billy Ray Campbell III and wife, Kristen Alicia, of Pleasant Hill, Louisiana, Bobby Monroe Campbell of Pleasant Hill, Louisiana, and Michael Jones and wife, Allison, of Zwolle, Louisiana; daughter, Tiffany Jones of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; sister, Carolyn Wilson and husband, Robert, of Oklahoma; and grandchildren, Rayleigh, Emberli, Madalyn, Serenity, and Helena.
Honoring Billy as pallbearers will be Eddie Campbell, Kenneth Campbell, Jr., Michael Campbell, Steve “Superman” Clark, Randal “Boo” Etheridge, Scot Harris, Michael Jones, and Cole Wilkerson. Serving as honorary pallbearers are Billy Ray Campbell III, Bobby Monroe Campbell, Michael Flemming, and David Howard.
