Billy Doss Obituary

November 2, 2024: Billy Dean Doss (68) passed away at his home in Houston, Mississippi. Billy was born on May 9, 1956, in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

Billy lived a life worth honor. He and his spouse, Pamelia Sepulveda Doss, fostered several children through the years, and he had two step-sons who he loved as they were his own. Billy loved to hunt in his younger days, and loved being outdoors. He was a jovial man who laughed as much as he loved. He truly lived by the teaching to "love thy neighbor". He was a Christian who "walked the walk". He would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it.

Billy is survived by his spouse, Pamelia; his sons, Jimmy Pumphrey and Andy Pumphrey; his brother Dennis Doss (Christine); his sisters Ruth Finn (Roger) and Bobbie Williams (Danny); seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Allen Jefferson Doss and Hazel Inez Franks Doss.

In lieu of memorial service or flowers, please pay it forward... be the light that outshines the darkness... be the salt of the earth... because that's how Billy lived, and that's the highest honor that we can give.
