SALEMBURG — Billy Martin Faircloth, 72, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Sept. 18, 2025 at UNC Rex Hospital in Raleigh.
The family will have a private service at a later date.
The family will receive friends anytime at Billy's house, 165 Honeysuckle Lane, Salemburg.
Billy was born in Sampson County to the late Leslie and Lucy Faircloth. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by his brothers, Tinker and Jim Faircloth; and his sister, Mary Hall.
Billy worked for the state of North Carolina as a bridge maintenance operator.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his son, Timothy "Tim" Martin Faircloth of Salemburg; daughter, Leslie Faircloth of Ohio; grandchildren, Cody, Paisley and Kyra Faircloth, Lucy and Dylan Strickland, and Kloey Clifton; and a great-grandson, Nathan Faircloth.
In lieu of flowers to help the family off set the funeral expenses, donations may be made to Butler Funeral Home, P.O. 638, Roseboro.
