Billy was born on September 15, 1958 in Haleyville, Alabama to Vadis and Goldie Flanagin.
The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, December 28, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville where the memorial service will follow at 4:00 p.m. with brother Ricky White officiating.
Billy is survived by his sons, Steven Flanagin, Josh Flanagin, Adam (Brittany) Flanagin, Jonathan Flanagin; siblings, Kathy Smith, Johnny Flanagin and kids, Ruth Ray and kids, Carol (Larry) Canida and kids; grandkids, Dayton Flanagin, Beckett Flanagin, Austin Flanagin, Kanesha Flanagin, Kylie Brannon, Logan Waldrop, Jacob Flanagin, Kinsley Flanagin, Anna Flanagin, Zayden Flanagin, Michael Jones, Zachery Hernandez, Ashley Hernandez; great nieces, Felisha Gail, Amanda Flanigan; great nephews, Christopher Flanagin, Justin Flanagin; niece, Tiffany (Joseph) Storie and kids; nephew, Jason (Amanda) Smith and kids, April (Mark) Norris and kids, Lavonda White and kids; and a host of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Vadis and Goldie Flanagin; daughter, Lisa Flanagin; brothers, Gerald Flanagin, Elzie Flanagin, and Jerry Flanagin.
