Dean mother miss you so very much but I know that you are in Glory with the LORD, Julie, Uncle Chuck, dad, grandmother Mary and other family and friends You are my first born and you are always in my heart. Love you forever, Mother

I love and miss you so much dad. As your one year anniversary approaches I'm spending a lot of time thinking of the times we shared. A lifetime of love, laughs, discipline and most importantly showing me what it means to have a relationship with Christ. I have learned so much from you that i will continue to take into my adulthood. I love you always dad. Thank you for everything.

I would like to extend my sincere condolences and prayers to the Ray Family.

R.I.P. Delano, surely we will never forget the good times and that big smile.

Dean Elliott Harris (Dean-O) Ray entered the world August 4, 1960 atPontiac General Hospital inPontiac, MI. He was the son ofJoseph and Shaylor Ray as wellas the apple of his grandmotherMary Harris's eye.Dean accepted Jesus Christ ashis personal savior at an earlyage and was baptized atMacedonia Baptist Churchunder the pastor ship of the lateRev. L.R. Minor. Later in hisyoung adult age he became amember of the PentecostalChurch of God (Pontiac) wherehe was a deacon, and a worshipleader, and president of theyoung people department andmany other church functions.Dean was a 1978 graduate ofPontiac Central High Schoolwhere he played football andplayed tuba in the marchingband. He was a chief throughand through and loved thecolors orange and black.Dean officially called Dean-Owas a great disc jockey and waswell known in Pontiac and themetro Detroit area. Deanworked at New Horizons for 2years, North Oakland MedicalCenter for 17 years, PhoenixResidential Services Inc. andCommon Ground for manyyears. Additionally he was acorrections officer for 2 years forthe state of Florida.Dean had two mothers, his birthmother and his aunt Dee, whohe loved with all his being.
