Billy Ray Hallmark, age 90, of Carbon Hill, Alabama, has gone home to his heavenly eternity to rest.
Billy lived a long, full life and spent many years as a truck driver, doing what he loved most—traveling the open road and seeing the country. He had a huge personality, a warm smile, and a presence that filled a room. His cowboy hat and boots were part of who he was, a true Southern gentleman through and through.
He never met a stranger and treated everyone like family. Billy had a heart as big as his personality and was known for his incredible kindness and generosity. He was always willing to help anyone in need, even if it meant giving the shirt off his back. He loved deeply, cared fiercely, and made sure the people around him never went without.
He shared a special bond with his dog, Angel, and found great joy in the simple things—good company, laughter, and taking care of those he loved.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Hallmark, and his children, Doug Hallmark and Tylan Hallmark, along with extended family and friends who will miss him more than words can express.
A memorial to celebrate his life will be held at his home in Carbon Hill for immediate family.
