Mr. Billy Hill, age 61, of Chapel Hill, TN passed away February 12, 2025. Billy was born July 10, 1963 in New Albany, MS to the late Floyd Edward Hill and Rebecca McClure Hill who survives.
Billy was a family man. You could find him in his younger days messing with his siblings. He was a proud graduate of the class of 1981 at Forrest High School. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps where he proudly served our country. Billy would always make it clear the love he had for his country and his fellow service members. After serving his country, he later took on the role of being a maintenance supervisor. When not at work, you could find Billy cooking and being a master at DIY projects. He was an avid bourbon collector as well as a gun collector. Billy was a loyal friend to many. Most of all, he adored his wife, child, and grandchild.
Billy is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Kim Hill of Chapel Hill, TN; daughter, Brittney (Jordan) Wood of Murfreesboro, TN; grandchild, Summer Wood of Murfreesboro, TN; mother, Rebecca Hill of Chapel Hill, TN; brothers, Dwayne Hill of the Verona community and Kenneth Hill of Winchester, TN; half-siblings, Carolyn Pratt, Christy Anglin, Connie Gulley, and Chad Hill.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Billy’s life on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 1PM in the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home. There will be a visitation period from 11AM until the service time at 1PM.
Memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project.
