Billy Hill Obituary
He was the son of the late Parnell (Marshall) and George Hill.
Billy Hill was a Marine Corp Veteran.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Dora L. Carroll.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories; his wife Ruby Johnson Hill of the home, three daughters, Swanzetta Levette Johnson (Carlos Thomas) and Shantel (Gerard) Johnson both of Greenwood. South Carolina as well as Kadeidra (Edward) Chappell of Columbia, South Carolina; He also leaves behind two step-daughters, Veronica "Poochie" Johnson and Lakeyia "KeKe" Johnson both of Greenwood, South Carolina; a loving sister, Emme (Frank) Bass of Taylors, South Carolina; one brother, Clayton (Kristina) Marshall, one brother-in-law, Ed Van (Velma) Johnson of Greenwood, South Carolina; one sister-in-law, Lena Jones of Greenwood, South Carolina; five grandchildren, nine step grandchildren 7 bonus grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Public viewing will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 from 1-6 P.M. at the funeral home.
Graveside services for Mr. Billy Hill will be held at 3 P.M. on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at Greenwood Memorial Gardens with Reverend Dr. Kimberly Martin, Officiating. Assisting will be Reverend Willie Cannady and Reverend James Louden.
The family is at the home of 406 Magnolia Drive in the Magnolia Place Subdivision and at the home of his daughter Swanzetta Johnson, 707 Stanley Avenue Apartment 11 in Greenwood, South Carolina.
Parks Funeral Home is assisting the Hill Family.
