Billy Johnson, born on January 21, 1951, peacefully left this world on January 19, 2025, just two days prior to his 74th birthday. He was a cherished member of the Kensett community in Arkansas, where he lived a life marked by love for his family and a passion for the simple pleasures of life.
Billy found great joy in gardening and fishing; pursuits that brought him closer to nature.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Ruby Diane Johnson; children, Trisha Cody (Alvie), Billy Jack Johnson (Kristie), Tina Johnson, Darlene Johnson, Jessie Johnson, Donna Johnson, and Glen Johnson (Alisha). Billy was also the proud grandfather and great-grandfather to many grandchildren, and his siblings, Johnny Johnson, Carolyn Yancey, Kathleen Johnson, Linda Colburn, and Patricia Hall.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Bobby, Patsy, and Bonnie, granddaughters, Raven Star Johnson and Cindy Lee Green.
Visitation will take place on January 24, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM, followed by a Funeral Service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Cole Funeral Home, located at 111 Wilbur D Mills Ave, Kensett, AR 72082. The family invites all who knew Billy to celebrate his life and share in the memories that live on in their hearts.
