Billy Dean Kirk, Sr., a loving, faithful, and grateful soul, passed away on August 12, 2024, in his hometown of Stilwell, Oklahoma. He was born on June 30, 1956, in Stilwell, Oklahoma, to his parents Mary Miller and the late Mose Kirk Sr.
Billy was a man of many passions and interests. An avid fisherman, skilled coon and deer hunter, and a dedicated craftsman who took pride in making knives. He also found joy in riding horses and indulged in various hobbies that reflected his loving and grateful nature.
The news of Billy's passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and the community. He will be greatly missed by his son, Billy Dean Kirk Jr., as well as his living siblings William (Linda) Kirk, Mark (Lisa) Kirk, Jessie Kirk, Sandra (Gary) Holmes, Kim (Trent) Ford, Marlene (Jimmy) Eagle. In addition, he will be remembered by his grandchildren Raniy Kirk, Weston Kirk, Carla Kirk and his dear girlfriend, Amy Vann, along with Amy's children Michael W (Jamie) Hooper, Kaheya (John) Steeley, Mariah Hooper, Kiana Hooper and grandchildren Nadie Hooper, Nova Hooper, Rowean Black, Ayliana Steeley, Gussie Steeley,
Billy was predeceased by his son, Daniel James Kirk, his father Mose Kirk Sr., his stepmother Ruby Kirk, and his brothers Mose Kirk Jr., and Mose Lance Kirk. He also mourned the loss of his granddaughter Carla Kirk and grandson Ahbleza Easton Hooper.
The memory of Billy Dean Kirk, Sr. will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. A visitation service will be held on August 19, 2024, at Hart Funeral Home in Stilwell from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. This will be followed by a graveside service at Kirk - Robinson Cemetery in Stilwell at 12:30 PM.
In this time of grief, let us remember Billy for the love and joy he brought into the lives of those around him. He will forever be cherished and remembered with respect and admiration by all who were fortunate enough to have known him.
