Billy Charles Lefevers, 73 of Flat Lick, Kentucky passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at his home. He was born on June 8, 1952, in Bell County, Kentucky and was the son of the late Charles Reed Lefevers and Frankie Lee Johnson Lefevers. He believed in the Christian Faith and was a member of the Centennial Baptist Church.
Billy loved his family and was known for his kindness and generosity. He was a skilled carpenter and builder. Bill said if he could have chosen the era in which he lived, it would have been the Wild West. He passed on his love for horses, and cowboy boots and hats, to many family members and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Releford Lefevers; sister, Kathy Lefevers Lawson; brothers, Rev. Clyde Lefevers and Timothy Lefevers; and sisters-in-law, Vicky Lefevers and Joyce Mary Lefevers.
Bill is survived by his children, Kevin and Shannon Lefevers, Jodi and Earl Carroll, and Adam Lefevers; grandchildren, Kacey Lefevers, Kagan Lefevers, Sydni and Charles Pickard, and Blake and Eric Mitchell; great-grandchildren, Cole Mitchell and Brylee Mitchell; siblings, Sharon and Sam Garrison, Norma and Doug Doenges, and Mike Lefevers; sister-in-law, Kathy Lefevers; brother-in-law, Phillip Lawson; step-sons and their families, Tim Jackson and George Jackson; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral services will be at 12:00 PM on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev Mike Brooks presiding. Music will be provided by Mickey Wilder. Burial will follow at the Lefevers Cemetery in Kettle Island. Pallbearers will be his grandson, Kagan Lefevers, his nephews, and friends.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Lefevers Family. Light a candle of remembrance and sign the guest register at www.arnettsteele.com.
