Harold Gene Lefevers, 79 of Cary, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2025, at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville. He was born in Pineville on December 8, 1945, a son of the late Arnold “Bud” and Beatrice Taylor Lefevers. Harold had been a coal miner.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles Glenn Lefevers, Joe Ray Lefevers, and Wilce Lefevers; sisters, Shirley Hollingsworth, Marie Secen, Muriel Lefevers, and Loretta Klinger.
Harold is survived by his sons, Burton Lefevers and wife, Lynsey, Adam Lefevers and wife, Thomasa, and Jonathan Bond; granddaughter, Madison Lefevers; brothers, Larry Lefevers, Mike Lefevers, and Laverne Lefevers; lifelong special friend, Rick Daniels; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Lefevers Family. Light a candle of remembrance and sign the guest register at www.arnettsteele.com.
