Billy Massey Obituary
Services for Billy Ray Massey aged 47, of Cleburne, will be held at 2:30 P.M., Saturday, October 12, 2024, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M. Friday, October 11, 2024, at the funeral home. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Brown, Logan Lane, Samuel Massey, Jeremy Dehay, Cody Brousard, Hunter Massey, Rob Scott, Micah Mason, and Shane Godwen.
Billy passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2024 in Cleburne. He was born on July 16, 1977, in Coleman, Texas, to Samuel Edward Massey and Cynthia Ann (Cry) Massey. A devoted family man, Billy married Ashley Marie Garcia on July 8, 2011, in Cleburne. They shared a life together for 13 years. He enjoyed a rewarding career in the Oilfield industry, where his contributions were appreciated by many. Billy had a passion for life and cherished time spent with his family and friends. He found joy in playing pool, fishing, dancing, singing, and celebrating joyous occasions. One of his favorite pastimes was snuggling with his children and watching movies together, creating cherished memories that will be treasured forever. Billy Ray Massey will be remembered for his vibrant spirit, love of life, and the warm impact he had on those around him.
He is survived by his wives, Ashley and Christy, his brother Abel, his sister Mary, his children Claudia, Dakota, Trey, Mercedes, Hannah, Samuel, and Nevaeh. Also, his grandchildren Dixie Rae, Chaislynn, Kesleigh, Keaton, Ezra, and Isabella Rae.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and both sets of grandparents.
