Billy F. Noble of
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away from this life on Monday, May 8, 2023, at the age of 74. Billy was born in
Tahlequah, Oklahoma, on October 22, 1948, the son of Frank E. Noble and Lisa Lottie (Christa) Noble. On March 7, 1968, Bill joined the United States Army, completing his basic training at Fort Sill. He was with the heavy artillery unit, completing a tour of Vietnam in February of 1970.
After receiving an honorable discharge from the Army on February 22, 1970, Bill began to shift his focus to career and family. On September 21, 1973, Billy married the love of his life, Janet, in a beautiful ceremony at the Moore Church of Christ. Together, they raised four amazing children: Heather, Ashley, Billy, and Marcus. Bill went on to start his own plumbing business, Bill's Sewer and Drain Cleaning, running the successful company for 45 years until his retirement.
Bill was highly respected and loved by many. His open, loving, and easygoing personality earned him many lifelong fans and friendships over the years. He loved being outdoors and was an avid hunter who looked forward to deer season each year. He also enjoyed riding his four-wheeler up in the mountains, and loved taking his family to Blocker, Oklahoma where they enjoyed fishing together at Lake Eufaula's Elm Point. He had a soft spot for animals and loved to spoil his precious pup, Bear, one of the many animals Bill had a special bond with during his life.
His primary focus though, was his family. Bill was a devoted husband and a doting, loving father to his children. He enjoyed nothing more than being with those he loved, and Bill always stood behind his children, fully supporting them as their guardian, mentor, and when necessary, their protector. He enjoyed cooking for his family, and Bill absolutely loved to eat, especially when he could smother his meal with extra ranch, or extra gravy – sometimes both. He also developed a big-time sweet tooth later in life and almost always had a pocket full of Tootsie Rolls to share. His kindness and compassion made a lasting impact on so many people, and Bill will be very deeply missed by all those lucky enough to have known him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Lisa Noble, one sister, Margaret Noble, and one brother, Steven Noble.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of nearly 50 years, Janet Noble; four children, Heather Stephens and son-in-law Shawn, Ashley Noble, Billy Noble, and Marcus Noble and daughter-in-law Tammy; his sister, Cristal Cole and husband John, and his brother, David Noble and wife Delana. Billy is also survived by his grandchildren Haven, Shaden, and Billy, his beloved dog, Bear, and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends.
