Billy Joe Noblett, 81, of Jones Ridge, Clearfield, Kentucky, passed away Monday, February 19, 2024 at his home.
He was born on May 8, 1942 in Ashe County, North Carolina, a son of the late Will and Grace Roten Noblett.
Billy was a retired truck driver having worked for Roadway Trucking for 30 years.
He was a member of Slab Camp Christian Church and a former member of the Phelps Masonic Lodge.
Billy enjoyed going to church and singing songs and also, farming.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby and Buck and three sisters, Ann, Madlyn and Betty.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Perkins Noblett, three brothers, Jackie Noblett, Roger Noblett and Keith Noblett all of North Carolina, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Paul and Lennie Perkins of Clearfield, special niece, Levonda Ingram, who was like a daughter to him, and her husband, Rob of Clearfield, a great-niece, Shana Colliver and her husband, John of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, a great-nephew, Paul Thomas and his wife, Megan of Morehead and great-great nieces and nephews, Kylee Cooper, Mallory Colliver, Calvin Colliver, Brycen Thomas and Brecken Thomas.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 24, 2024 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Brother Charles Moore and Brother Greg Bowman officiating.
Burial will follow in the Jones Cemetery on Jones Ridge.
Visitation is from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
