Billy Pardue Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Aria Cremation Service and Funeral Home - Irving on Nov. 21, 2025.
Billy Wayne Pardue, age 85, passed away at home in Euless, Texas on Tuesday November 18th, 2025. Born September 11th, 1940, at home in Dallas County, Bill spent his early years in Dallas and South Oak Cliff and later lived in Kansas City, Irving, Euless and several other cities throughout his life.
In 1963 Bill was drafted into the United States Army where he served with honor and distinction and was awarded both a Good Conduct Medal and a Sharpshooter (Rifle) Commendation. During his service he married the love of his life Martha Ann Matthews on September 11, 1964 -a union that became the foundation of his life. Bill was Honorably Discharged in July of 1965.
After leaving the Army, Bill worked as a machinist for Security Engineering until 1968. He later earned his Real Estate License and spent time as a Realtor with Century 21 in Grapevine, Texas. His love for learning continued when he attended Elkins Radio School where he earned his F.C.C. License. That same year he joined Braniff Airlines, a place where he made cherished memories and formed lifelong friendships. Bill remained with Braniff for more than 25 years until their closure in 1989.
In 1990, Bill found a new calling with FedEx where he quickly rose to the position of courier. He especially loved his peaceful rural route, and after earning multiple awards he retired following 12 years of dedicated service. Throughout his life, Bill embraced every job with integrity, enthusiasm, and an unwavering work ethic. He often said, "If it's worth doing, it's worth doing right."
Bill was beloved by everyone he met. With a gift for conversation and a heart full of kindness, he never met a stranger. He was warm, compassionate, and deeply honest, always willing to help others. Sharing the Gospel brought him joy, and his gentle spirit touched many.
Above all, Bill adored his wife, Martha. Their 61 years of marriage were filled with devotion, laughter, and unwavering love. He cherished every moment with her-holding her hand, offering sweet kisses, and speaking of her with admiration and gratitude.
A passionate sports fan, Bill especially loved football. He was a proud, loyal supporter of both the Dallas Cowboys and the Kansas City Chiefs. He loved the camaraderie of seeing other Cowboy fans out in public wearing shirts and hats with the Cowboy star and shouting "How 'bout them Cowboys?" especially after a big win.
Bill was a devoted Christian who loved the Lord wholeheartedly. A powerful prayer warrior, he faithfully turned to God in every season of life. Confident in his salvation, he looked forward to the day he would look into the face of his Savior.
Bill is survived by his loving wife, Martha Ann Pardue, of Euless, Texas; granddaughter Cindy Miller of Euless, Texas; son-in-law Sean Miller of Plano, Texas; and their daughter, Jocelyn Miller. He is also survived by Ross and Kara Pardue and their son Truett Pardue, of Ben Wheeler, Texas, and by sister Bettye Worley of Fort Worth, Texas. Bill leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, family members, and dear friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Lillian E. and Curtis L. Pardue, his children Daren W. Pardue and Leni R. Lawson; and his siblings Curtis Pardue and Marie Lipscomb.
Bill will be deeply missed and forever remembered by everyone blessed to have known him. His legacy of love, faith, and integrity lives on in the hearts of all whose lives he touched.
