Billy Perez, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2025, in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, at the age of 57. Born on July 5, 1967, in Denver, Colorado, Billy was a force of joy and laughter that brightened the lives of everyone around him.
In his professional life, Billy found his niche in sales, where his natural charisma and infectious humor allowed him to thrive. Recognizing his strengths, he eventually took the courageous step of starting his own flooring business, where he would go on to build a successful career.
Billy was more than just a businessman; he was the life of every gathering, always the first to crack a joke or share a heartfelt story. Known for his loud and goofy personality, he had an uncanny ability to ensure that everyone around him felt happy and cared for. His empathy was profound, and he approached each day with a great love for life and the people in it. He had an incredible passion for conversation, often engaging those around him with warmth and genuine interest.
His dedication to family was unparalleled. Billy held being a father above all other accomplishments, teaching his children the valuable lessons of life, often with a helpful mixture of guidance and the occasional needed scolding. His legacy lives on through his wife, Natalie, and their daughters, Brenda, Marlene, and Teresa, along with his son, Romeo. He was a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren and a great-grandfather to six great-grandchildren, who brought him immense joy and pride.
A devoted sports enthusiast, Billy was a loyal fan of the Denver Broncos and had a deep appreciation for both college and professional sports. He spent countless hours indulging in his favorite pastimes, whether it was avidly bowling—boasting multiple 300-point games—or re-watching games while proudly displaying his extensive collection of sports memorabilia.
Billy's journey on this earth came to an end after a brief but valiant battle with cancer. He was not alone in his fight; his devoted wife stood by his side, offering love and support until God called him home. Now, he rests with his cherished parents, Bill and Carla Perez, and his beloved grandma, Elsie Perez, looking over his family with pride.
His absence leaves a void that can never be filled, but the lives he touched will forever carry the light and laughter that he generously shared. Billy Perez will be profoundly missed, remembered for his vibrant spirit, unwavering love, and the countless memories of joy he created.
