Billy Dan Reeves

Billy Dan Reeves, 70, a longtime resident of Fort Worth, died Thursday, Jan. 8, 2015, after a brief illness. Service: A visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Greenwood. Bill was born Sept. 30, 1944, in Corsicana, Texas, and spent his childhood there. He graduated from Corsicana High School in 1963 and moved to Fort Worth at that time. He spent many years in the automotive industry. Bill was known for his wickedly dry sense of humor, which he took great joy in sharing with others. He also relished in the joy of God's gracious bounty and loved the finer things in life. He was a devout enthusiast of automobiles and had a particular passion for red cars. Bill took immense pride in his life partner of 25 years, Charles Weatherby, and loved him dearly. Bill will be sorely missed by his immediate and extended family. Survivors: Charles Weatherby; brother, Gary Reeves; other members of his family, Shannon and Trace Worrell, their children Patrick, Hilary, and Charles; Patty McClinton, and her children, Emellia and Calvin.
