Billy Wayne "Bill" Shippey

Billy "Bill" Wayne Shippey, 85, of Conroe, died Tuesday, January 13, 2026. He was born on May 2, 1940, in Austin, to Myrtle Rose Shippey and Norris Perry Shippey.

Survivors include his wife, DiAnne Shippey of Conroe; son, Bryan Shippey and his wife, Amy Shippey of Houston; daughter, Celeste Dawn Shippey Anderson of Winter Haven, Florida; grandchildren, Amanda Dawn Seese of Blaine, Minnesota and Tabitha Anne Willis of Plymouth, Minnesota; and great-grandchildren, Graham, Darian, Leon, Alexander, Emerson, and Katarina.

He is preceded in death by, his parents; brothers, Leland Shippey, Marvin Shippey, Claude Shippey, and Sonny Shippey; and sister, Mary Hammers.

A gathering of Mr. Shippey's family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Friday, January 16, 2026, at Broussard's, 505 North 12 th Street, Nederland. His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Broussard's, with his interment to follow at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County, Nederland.
