Billy Thacker, age 82, of Shelbiana, Ky., passed away Sunday ,February 23, 2025 at his home. He was born on Dec. 5, 1942 to his parents the late Willie (Bill) Thacker and Sylvia Hunter Thacker. Billy was also preceded in death by his brothers, Truman Thacker, Ellis "Ray" (Lucy) Thacker, and sisters, Teresa Thacker, and Betty Jo (Johnny) Gillespie.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita Thacker, a son, Millard Joe Price, a daughter, Lily Annette (Jeff) Thomas, his granddaughters, Sarah (Robert) Huffman, Kristen (Trent) Kestner, a great grandson, Robert "Isaac" Huffman, brothers, Doug (Christine) Thacker, Russell (Doris) Thacker, Danny (Ginger) Thacker, and sister Denita (Roger) Blankenship.
Billy was a loving father and grandfather. He worked hard all his life and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy
Visitation will be Monday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2025 at 12 Noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Randy May officiating. Burial will follow in the R.H. Ratliff Cemetery at Shelbiana.
