Blacida Hernandez was born on February 3, 1938 in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico. She passed away October 4th, 2025, in Seguin. Texas, surrounded by her family at her side.
Blacida was a kind and loving soul. She taught us the importance of family love and hard work. She had a way of making everyone feel welcomed and loved. Her kindness left an unforgettable mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Blacida is the fourth child of 12 children. She leaves behind 9 siblings and numerous nieces and nephews.
She also leaves behind a longtime companion, Froylan Campos and 6 children Jesus Silva (Yadira),Delia Lazo (Alonso), Juan Gutierrez (Dora) Norma San Miguel(Robert) Mirta Vasquez)Marcus) and Dora Elia Gutierrez as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
On behalf of the whole entire family. We would like to thank Guadalupe regional hospice for all their hard work to ensure comfortability in her home, the care they gave went far beyond responsibility, full of compassion that made her final moments peaceful and full of love. We would also like to thank family and friends who showed compassion, love, and prayers through this process,
Visiting hours will be Thursday, October 16th at Palmer Mortuary from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a rosary at 6 p.m.
Visiting hours will continue Friday, October the 17th at Palmer's starting at 8:30 a.m. We will proceed to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church at 9:30 a.m. where mass will be offered at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.
