Ty Allan Abel

Ty Allan Abel, 20, of McQueeney, Texas, lost his life on March 5, 2026. He was born on January 31, 2006, to his proud parents, Lonnie Abel and Shawnna Kridner. Ty worked as a glazer and was expected to one day take over the family business. He was a talented and skilled young man who could build or fix just about anything.

Ty loved riding motorcycles, spending time at the gun range, and being with his family and friends. He had big dreams and aspirations, a contagious smile, and a wonderful sense of humor. Fiercely loyal to those he loved, Ty shared a special bond with his mother and was truly her best friend. His passing is a heartbreaking loss, and it is a tragedy that the world has lost such a compassionate and loving young man.

In addition to his parents, Ty is survived by his sister, Jacey Dimitrov, and brother-in-law, James; his brother, Aaron “Mikey” Abel; his aunts, Jenafer (Ryan) and Alicia (Stan); his cousins, Zack (Madi), Alyssa, Cayden, Everleigh, Mikealla, and Silas; his best friends, JP and Alex; and numerous other friends who loved him dearly.

The family will receive condolences at Palmer Mortuary on Thursday, March 12, 2026 from 4pm to 8pm. A memorial service will begin at 7pm. All services will conclude in the chapel.
