Manuel R. Martinez

Manuel R. Martinez, age 77, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2026, surrounded by the love of those who cherished him. Born on May 4, 1948, he was the beloved son of the late Tomasa Vigil and Simon Martinez, whose memory he carried with him throughout his life.

Manuel is survived by his son, Manuel D. Martinez Jr., his son in law John Martinez, and his treasured granddaughter, Aaliyah Martinez, who brought immense joy and pride into his later years. He also leaves behind many extended family members and countless friends who were touched by his kindness, humor, and unwavering generosity.  He participated and enjoyed playing pool, with local 8-Ball Association.

Known for his willingness to lend a helping hand, Manuel lived a life rooted in compassion and community. Whether assisting a neighbor, supporting a friend, or offering guidance to those who needed it, he gave freely and wholeheartedly. His presence brought comfort, and his spirit created lasting bonds with everyone fortunate enough to know him.

A public visitation will be held on March 2, 2026, at Palmer Mortuary from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A funeral sermon will follow at 6:00 PM, and the Rosary will begin at 7:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and honor a life lived with sincerity, warmth, and love.

Manuel’s legacy will continue in the hearts of those he touched. His kindness, strength, and generosity will be remembered always.
