It is with great sadness that the family of Blake Lynn Davis announces his passing on August 11, 2025. Blake was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, friend and so much more to all who knew him.
Born on July 28, 1953 in Port Arthur, Texas, to Murphy Edgar Jr. and Barbara Lynn Morton, Blake lived a life full of adventure and purpose. He will be remembered for his outgoing personality, his devotion to friends and family, and his strong faith as he formed a closer relationship with Jesus in recent years while living at Bar J Ranch in Eldorado, Arkansas.
Blake had a passion for riding motorcycles and spending time with his biker friends, often enjoying the freedom of the open road and the camaraderie of those rides. He also found joy in woodworking, creating with his hands, and sharing his craft with those around him.
He is survived by his sister, Ellen Davis Pruett and her husband, Don Pruett; his ex-wife, Patricia Davis; his daughter, Samantha Palmisano Young and her husband, Troy Young with her 2 children Anastasia Hathcox "Monse" and Liam Parker; his son, Frank James and his fiance Christina D'Angelo and their six children, Nevaeh James, Nylayah James, Jayden James, Jace Faure, and Patrick Doll and his daughter, Meredith Lynn Drake, and her husband Trey Drake, along with their six children: Blake Drake, Jade King, Reagan Drake, Emily Drake, Merek Drake, and Cali Drake. Blake was preceded in death by his parents and his grandsons, Conner Davis Drake and Cash Drake.
He will be cremated and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Blake will be deeply missed, and the love and memories shared will remain forever in our hearts.
Washington Funeral Home is entrusted with the service.
