A private family burial will be held at a later date in Fairview Memorial Park Cemetery in Fairmont. Blake passed away Saturday, February 28, 2026, at his home in Fairmont. Blake Thomas Rasche was born October 20, 1987, in
Worthington, MN, the son of Kent and Deborah (Kruger) Rasche. Blake was baptized at Westminster Presbyterian Church in June 1988. In his early years, the family moved to Fairmont, where Blake grew up, built lifelong friendships, and graduated from Fairmont High School.
Blake worked a variety of jobs over the years, but his heart always belonged outdoors. With determination and grit, he turned that passion into his own lawn care business. There was something fitting about Blake shaping landscapes under wide Minnesota skies, he was never happier than when he was working with his hands, breathing in fresh air, and creating something he could stand back and admire.
The greatest joy of Blake's life was the birth of his son, Bentley. From the moment he became a father, Blake's world changed in the best possible way. He loved Bentley fiercely and proudly. Some of their most treasured moments were spent side by side at the lake, casting lines into the water, soaking up the warmth of the summer sun, and sharing stories. Those peaceful hours fishing weren't just hobbies; they were the building blocks of a bond that will never fade.
Blake was a loyal and devoted friend who cherished his circle deeply. He looked forward to gatherings filled with laughter, spirited games of bags, and the retelling of stories that somehow grew better with every repetition. His laugh was contagious, his humor effortless, and his presence the kind that made everyone feel welcome.
When he wasn't outdoors or with friends, Blake could be found riding his bike with the wind at his back or at home immersed in a game of Halo and curled up with his dog, Nyah.
Blake will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, his unwavering love for his son, and his ability to turn everyday moments into lasting memories. Though his time here was far too short, the imprint he leaves on his family, friends, and especially Bentley is immeasurable.
Left to cherish his memory is his son, Bentley Rasche; parents, Kent and Deborah Rasche; a brother, Charles "Chip" (Ashley) Rasche and their children, Justin and Owen; as well as other extended family and friends.
Blake was preceded in death by his grandparents.
