Shirley & I connected some yearsago when I was Sales & Marketing Director for The Village Cooperative in MasonCity.
Shirley came over for a tour and coffee. The first thing that clicked with us .We were " Bohunks"
We said a few Bohemian words and shared family history. She stopped in periodically when she drove over to Mason City.
My grandpa Frank Pirkl would go to the big church Festival. Just for the Kolaches...He would buy 6 dozen at a time..
Shirley was a gem. Fabulous sense of humor. & a warm heart.
May Her Memory Be Eternal.
