Blanche Ford

Blanche Ford, Age 91, of Willis, Texas beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away peacefully on March 4, 2026, after a short illness.

Born, at home, on July 4, 1934, in Butler, Pennsylvania, to the late John and Nancy George. Blanche was the oldest of 7 children. She led a life marked by kindness and devotion to her family.

Blanche was a homemaker while raising her children in Fairfield, California. She carried on old family traditions and created new ones. She was a master seamstress, often making clothing for her family. The holidays were always special with days of baking and preparing traditional Polish foods. There was always room for another guest at the dinner table.

When Blanche's children were grown, she moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, where she met the love of her life, Fortis "Gus" Ford. They married in 1988 and enjoyed 20 years of traveling, enjoying family, and welcoming new grandbabies and great grandbabies. Gus preceded her in death in 2011.

Blanche is survived by her four children: Debbie Maready (Ed); Linda Wojton (Johnny); Karen Airoldi (Rick); Dianna Nuenthel.

Blanche was blessed with 12 grandchildren: John Maready, Kristin Littlefield, Jennifer Maready, Jeremy Johnson, Melissa Looney, Kristina Looney, Nicole Rendon, Ashley Dong, Christopher Nuenthel, Matthew Huntsman (deceased), Nicholas Huntsman, and Jayson Johnson. Blanche was also blessed with 23 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is also survived by two sisters, Pauline Cameron, Nancy Snyder, and brother Joe Snyder (Donna). Three brothers preceded Blanche in death: Clifford George, John "Jack" George, and Raymond George.

Blanche was dearly loved and will be greatly missed but forever remembered.
