Blanche Kaneshiro was born to Walter and Yuki Futamachi on August 25, 1946. Both sides of her family, the Shiotas and the Futamachis were known and honored for their hard work post WWII. She and her 2 siblings, Dwight and Barbara, struggled in growing up in a post war era. Blanche, it almost seemed as if she lived 3 lifetimes.
Blanche, growing up in a religious good home and young married and widowed, Blanche receiving Christ as her personal Saviour and working as a school nurse, and raising her only daughter. Then Blanche in later years marrying again to a pastor and enjoying fruitful years as a pastor's wife where she served as church secretary and Bible teacher. After her husband retired from the ministry, they enjoyed fruitful retirement years starting up a ministry to nursing home residents. She lived each stage of her life to the fullest.
She is survived by her daughter Christy and family and sister, Barbara.
We're so glad we know she is in heaven.
