Blanche King Obituary
She was born May 15, 1935 in Magnetic Springs to the late Harvey Edward and Vera Vivian (Young) King. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Christine Elaine Mounts, a brother, Murray Edward Verity, and two sisters, Elizabeth Ann Verity and Eva Dean Verity.
Blanche was a good artist and loved to paint. She was also a loving mother and a great cook.
Among her surviving family members are children, Steve Mounts, Waldo; Carlene Dawn Cumston, Idaho; brothers, Glen Ray Verity, Canada; David Eugene Verity, Colorado; Michael Chapman, Colorado; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at 11:00 AM in the Prospect Cemetery with lay minister Mike Fogle officiating.
Memorial gifts may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
