Blanche Louise Wells, age 99, of Celina Tennessee. Passed away on December 12, 2025 at home peacefully, with family surrounding her.

She was born April 9, 1926 in West Frankfort, Illinois to Harold and Ella Summers.

Louise was united in Marriage to Stanley Hubert Wells December 1946 they were able to celebrate 66 years of marriage.

After getting married in West Frankfort, Illinois, they then relocated to Chicago to pursue work. There they set up a home that would welcome many family members to come and stay with them while searching for work and relocating. Her home was always open to family and friends. She was a hostess and took that calling that was placed on her seriously. Always caring and willing to help make people feel welcome and safe. After her husband retired from General Motors they relocated back to Ina Illinois where they lived for over 20 years enjoying gardening and helping with the Sun Shine Senior Citizen Center. She was talented and made many quilts and afghans for her children and grandchildren. She always had a special craft going and your favorite meal when you visited.

She held different jobs throughout her adult life from homemaker to nurses aide and also in retail. But the job she took most importance in was Mother. She had committed her life to the Lord at a young age and made it her responsibility to live accordingly and to teach others. She held numerous positions within the different Churches that they were a part of. She worshipped for a number of years with Joliet First Church of God, Shorewood First Church of God, and when they moved to Ina they then worshipped at Bonnie First Church of God, after moving to Celina they spent many years at Shankey Branch First Church of God.

Louise was the mother of Karen D. Sharp (Darrell) of Booneville Indiana, Gloria J. Schmitz (Michael) of Celina Tennessee, and Mark A. Wells (Teresa) of Fredericksburg Virginia.

She is survived by her Daughter Gloria Schmitz, Daughter in law Teresa Wells. Brothers James Summers, Wayne (Barbra) Summers, Sister in Laws Sandy Summers, Elanie Wells, Brother in law Charles Wells. Grandchildren Kim (Billy) Austin of Hanson Kentucky, Darrell Sharp of Evansville Indiana, Jeff (Melissa) Sharp Booneville Indiana, Eric (Wendy) Sharp of Evansville Indiana, Brandy (Clint) Fraley of Union Hill Tennessee, Aaron (Nate) Wells of Fredericksburg Virginia, and Liam (Jasmine) Wells of Fredericksburg Virginia.

Great Grandchildren, Matthew (Brandi) Sharp of Hatfield Indiana, Ashlee (Robert) Bryne of Booneville Indiana, Carrie (Jon) Austin of Hanson Kentucky, Robin (Lucas) Haas of Booneville Indiana, Josh (Taylor) Sharp of Evansville Indiana, Jefferey (Erica) Sharp of Christiansburg Virginia, Kaitlyn (Colby) Thomas of Tell City Indiana, Travis (Anna) Thomason of Evansville Indiana, Heather Hammers of Evansville Indiana, Lindsey Sharp (Tommy), Chandler Indiana, Zachary Sharp of Evansville Indiana, Joseph Sharp of Evansville Indiana, Larry Krieg of Celina Tennessee, Brandon Krieg of Groveland California, Karleigh (James) Winningham of Burkesville Kentucky,Kali Fraley of Union Hill Tennessee, Grant Fraley of Union Hill Tennessee, Olivia Wells of Fredericksburg Virginia, and Ryan Wells of Fredericksburg Virginia.

Audrey, Ava, and Adrianna Hammers of Evansville Indiana, Hunter Thomason of Evansville Indiana, Lucas Sharp of Evansville Indiana, Landon Sharp of Evansville Indiana, Griffin and Gabriella Rowley of Chandler Indiana, Skylynn and Jaysa Heneisen of Chandler Indiana.

Two very special family members to mention Meghan Watkins and Roje Boyd Jr. (Junior) a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Louise was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband Stanley Wells, Siblings Wilda Barnard, Gloria May Summers, Vernon Summers, Burrell Summers, and Dennis Summers. Her Brother and Sister in laws Eula Summers, Ab Barnard, Velmalee and Ernest (Ernie) Rhynes, Lorene and Francis Osborn, Wilma and Arthur Schaffer, James and Betty Wells, Carl Wells, and Janet Wells. Her Children Karen and Mark, Her son in laws Darrell and Michael and Great Grandson Shawn Lohr.

Visitation will take place at Johnston Funeral Home in Ina Illinois

Friday 5-8

Service will be held at Bonnie First Church of God in Bonnie Illinois

Saturday 2:00 visitation 3:00 service will begin.

Interment will take place at Kirk Cemetery in Ina Illinois following the service.
