A memorial service for Blane Robinson, 67, of Jefferson will be 11:00 am Friday, November 8, 2024 at Slininger-Schroeder Funeral Home in Jefferson. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Slininger-Schroeder Funeral Home. A private family burial will take place at a later date at Dawson Township Cemetery, Paton, Iowa. Memorials are suggested to the family to be used at their discretion.
Blane Eugene Robinson was born August 4, 1957 in Jefferson, Iowa, to Karen (Clingan) and Carl Robinson. He graduated from Jefferson High School and worked for over 40 years as a maintenance person and jack-of-all-trades for McAtee Tires in Jefferson. Blane's hobbies included yard mowing, and collecting replicas of John Deere tractors. He enjoyed garage sales and was always looking for a bargain. Blane was a member of the Scranton Christian Church.
Blane Eugene Robinson died November 3, 2024 at Trinity Regional Medical Center, Fort Dodge, Iowa. He was 67 years of age. Preceding him in death were his parents, Karen and Carl Robinson, and a brother, John Robinson.
Survivors include his sister, Carla Robinson; brother Greg (Tammy) Robinson; half-brothers, Danny Robinson and Rob Eckard; half-sisters, Tracy Perez and Deanna Lopez; nieces and nephews; and long-time girlfriend, Teresa Tipton.
Slininger-Schroeder Funeral Home and Cremation Care is assisting the family. Online condolences may be left at www.sliningerschroeder.com.
