It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Blue Jacobson, born on February 28, 2006, in Mesa, Arizona. Blue left this world on September 27, 2024, free from the challenges of Duchenne's Muscular Dystrophy, and now embraces eternal freedom.
Blue was the kindest, strongest, and most amazing person many of us had the privilege of knowing. He was a gifted artist, his drawings full of life and creativity. Blue's passions were asking questions, drawing, going to places, Star Wars, Disneyland, finding and creating amazing food and eating spicy sushi. With a smile that matched the thrill of racing anyone in his electric wheelchair, he embodied resilience and courage. He is the toughest guy we've ever known.
A proud Westwood High School student, Blue touched the lives of everyone he met, always offering inspiration and joy to those around him. He had an innate ability to make people feel loved, and his generous spirit enriched every friendship and connection he made.
Survived by his loving mother, Gini, his father, Jason and his siblings Hayden, Hyrum, Jarom, Brigham, Tate, Sara, Dane, and Bethany, Blue leaves behind a legacy of strength, love, and inspiration. His family finds comfort in knowing that Blue is now running, jumping, and flying in heaven, free at last. He is our "Spirit Warrior," guiding us with his bravery and unbreakable spirit.
Though we will miss Blue deeply, we take comfort in knowing that he is running, jumping, and flying freely in heaven, where he is our "Spirit Warrior." Blue's memory will continue to inspire us, reminding us to live life with courage, creativity, and boundless love. We will always love you.
