Bob Adkins Obituary
BOB ADKINS - Robert Howard "Bob" Adkins, age 72, of Columbus, MS, passed away September 17, 2025, at his residence. Graveside services will be Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Memorial Gardens of Columbus with Pastor George Collins officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 10:00 AM until 10:30 AM at Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory.
Mr. Adkins was born March 5, 1953, in Columbus, MS, to the late Ernest and Mary Lou Geer Adkins. He was of the Baptist faith and before retirement he worked as the head bartender at The Club and in the maintenance department for Sanders Oil Company. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his grandparents Major H. and Rispie Geer and Charles and Edith Adkins.
Survivors include his brother, Charles L. Adkins and his wife Margaret of Columbus, MS, cousins, and numerous friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Columbus Lowndes Humane Society, 50 Airline Rd., Columbus, MS, 39702.
