Bob Blosser Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Allen Funeral Home - Davison on Feb. 5, 2026.
BLOSSER, Robert – of Burton, age 74, passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at his residence. A Funeral Service will be held 1 PM on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Benjamen Evers officiating. Interment will be in Flint Memorial Park following the service. The family will welcome visitors from 11 AM until the time of the service on Tuesday.

Bob was born in Flint on December 10, 1951, son of the late Monroe and Edith (Brown) Blosser. He married Cheryl Smith on March 31, 1984. She survives him. Bob worked for many years at GM before retiring in 2004. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying time in the woods hunting or fishing. Bob enjoyed Detroit sports, especially the Tigers and watching the Lions with his son, Rob. He had a huge passion for music. He played in a band in his younger years and most recently enjoyed singing karaoke with his daughter, Beckie. He was a fan of the Beatles, The Blues Brothers and country music. Bob also found joy in traveling cross country on family vacations, and spending time in Northern Michigan. He liked playing board games with his wife, family, and friends, especially Aggravation. During the Christmas season, he took pride in being one of Santa's helpers. His greatest joy was found in spending time with his family and friends, mostly his grandchildren. Bob will be deeply missed for his sarcastic humor, tough exterior but soft heart.

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl Blosser; 4 children, Tania (Jeff) Hanson, Candice (Ryan) Mount, Rob (Melissa) Blosser, Jr and Beckie Blosser; 9 grandchildren, Cassidy, Scott, Beau, Mason, Aubrey, Lucy, Abbey, Maxwell, and Milo; 2 great-grandchildren, Jack and Athena; a brother, Al (Sharon) Blosser; and other loving family members and friends. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by a son, Paul Blosser; four brothers, Dareld, David, Melvin and Jerry Blosser; and a sister, Erma Huffman.
