Patricia "Pat" Slattery

Slattery, Patricia "Pat" - age 85 of Mt. Morris, transitioned peacefully on February 1, 2026. She was born on April 7, 1940 in Flint, Michigan to the late Lloyd and Iva (Taylor) Tucker.

Pat graduated from Mt. Morris High School and went on to serve our country in the Women’s Army Corps (WAC). Pat retired after working 51 years at General Motors - Service Parts Operation (SPO). She was a member of the Flint Banjo Club for years. She had a passion for Blue Grass music and played the banjo and violin. Pat was known as a hard worker who had a great sense of humor which was balanced with her appreciation of the arts through plays, live theater, and music. She had a special place in her heart for animals (especially cats) and enjoyed garage sales, movies, crossword, and jigsaw puzzles. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Surviving are her daughters, Pam Houston of Mt. Morris and Teresa Slattery of St. Augustine, FL. Grandchildren, Candace (James) Follen and Neil Alami. Great-Grandchildren, Jamesen and Jaxon. Pat was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Jane Reynolds.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Pat's Life will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 11, 2026 at the Mosaic Church of the Nazarene located at 8499 Dort Hwy, Mt. Morris, Michigan 48458.

Pat will be laid to rest, with military honors rendered by the United States Army, at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
