Bobby "Bob" Lee Hunt, Sr., 73, of Verona, Virginia passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at his home.
He was born April 17, 1952, in Abingdon, Virginia, the son of the late Graham Elbert Hunt and Maggie Jane Griffith Hunt.
Bob was formerly self-employed, running Hunt's Remodeling and Handyman Plus.
He was a hardworking man who enjoyed riding motorcycles, Harley Davidson, and Marilyn Monroe.
Bob is survived by his sons: Bobby Hunt, Jr. and wife Brittany, Blake Huffman; step-children: Allan Thomas, Karrie Thomas, Khristal Thomas; grandchildren: Isaiah, Lincoln; sisters: Betty Jane Ford, Rita Carol Perez, Martha Kay Goodyear; mother of his children: Nancy Coffey; mother of his step-children: Tammie Lawson; special niece: Jessica Hunt; and other nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers: Daniel Hunt and Donald Hunt; and two sisters: Virginia "Ginny" Hunt and Carolyn Turney.
A memorial service will be conducted at a later time.
The family will receive friends at his and Betty's home or contact Bobby Jr. on Facebook.
