Bob Johnson

Mr. Robert Edwin "Bob" Johnson, 77, of Grenada, passed away Thursday, November 6, 2025 at his residence. He was born December 11, 1947 in Lambert to Robert Edwin Johnson, Sr. and Gene Johnson. Bob honorably served our country in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and earned the rank of Sergeant. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 2 stars and Vietnam Campaign Medal. Bob worked for several years in the Boiler Room at Weyerhaeuser in Bruce and was an active and devoted member of the First Apostolic Church in Grenada. He was a loving father and grandfather and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, November 10, 2025 at First Apostolic Church with Rev. Adelbert Adcock officiating. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until service time Monday at First Apostolic Church.

Survivors include his daughter, Tammy Winter of Grenada; four grandsons, Joseph Nathaniel Johnson, Cameron Kyle Winter, Zackery Landon Winter and Robert Cory Winter; seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife, Shelia Johnson.

In addition to his grandsons, Leslie Lee and Andrew Welch will serve as pallbearers.
