Bob Marshall Obituary

Marshall, Bob M.

88, of New Port Richey, FL, passed away at home on Jan. 5, 2026. Born July 23, 1937, in Iowa City, IA, he was the son of Earl and Ruby (Richardson) Marshall. Bob graduated from Dow City High School and attended Graceland College before earning his bachelor's degree from the University of Omaha. A CPA, he enjoyed a long career in accounting, working for several firms and serving as Treasurer for the Village of Hazel Crest, IL. A man of strong faith, Bob was an active member of Hazel Crest, Palos, Demotte, and Hudson First United Methodist Churches. He loved golf, boating, card games, and especially attending his grandchildren's sporting events. He is survived by his wife, Carol; his children, Mark (Patti) Marshall and Kathryn (Leonard) Stelly; grandchildren, Melissa (Curtis) Frazier, Jake (Tayler) Marshall, Logan, Lauren, and Austin Stelly; and great-grandchildren, Hunter, Kacey, and Bennett; his sister, Mary Klaus and step-sister, Paula Cross. Services were held on Jan. 9, 2026, at Hudson First United Methodist Church. A celebration of life will be held up north in the spring.
