Robert “Bob” Kemp Plummer, Jr., 86, of Trinity, passed away Monday, January 26, 2026, at the Hospice Home of High Point.
Born July 21, 1939, in Randolph County; he was the son of the late Robert Kemp Plummer, Sr. and the late Elsie Julian Plummer. He served in the U S Air Force. He began his career with Piedmont Airlines and retired as a cargo manager for U S Airway.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Joan Hanner; grandson Mark Baumgartner, and son-in-law, Eddie Billings.
Those left to cherish his memory; his beloved wife of 64 years, Florence Davis Plummer; daughters, Lynn Baumgartner, and Kris Billings; son, R. Kemp Plummer III and wife Nicole; sisters, Gwen Davis and Sue Cocke; brother, Dr. Ronald Plummer; grandchildren, Avery Plummer and Taylor Keenan and husband Robert; and 4 great grandchildren.
Celebration of Life service will be 2:00PM Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at Mt Vernon Church; 9931 Archdale Rd., Trinity; with the Reverend Dr. Caroline Franks officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service.
